Go, Angels, Go!
Main Cast: Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu, Demi Moore
Director: McG
The Angels are back for a second run and are as hip, energetic, and beautiful as ever. In case you’ve forgotten we have Natalie Cook (Diaz), Dylan Sanders (Barrymore), and Alex Munday (Liu): the blonde, redhead, and brunette respectfully. Bosley, however, has changed from Bill Murray to Bernie Mac. Apparently he is a relative. A distant one.
The plot. uh, the scenes that proceed from one to another revolve around a “fallen angel” named Madison Lee (Moore), who was the best in her day, but apparently went bad (or at least went for the big bucks). Also, an old boyfriend of Dylan’s is released from prison and both wants her back (or revenge) and is involved in the story. Will she have to fight him in the end? Do ducks have a bill?
While this movie has more action, it does sparkle more with energy. But it all breaks down to the question: do you enjoy watching three (now four, with the addition of Moore) beautiful women in a lightweight plot and wall-to-wall action? If you do, then this is definitely for you. I admit that, yes, I kinda like it. Just like the first one.
