First, Britney, then Lindsay, now Miley? OK, so she’s not getting checked into rehab or anything, but Miley Cyrus, better known to tween girls everywhere as “Hannah Montana,” got into some trouble with Consumer Reports after she was seen with her dad in the popular 3D movie “Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert,” not wearing her seat belt in the back seat of a Range Rover.
Consumer Reports pointed out that 65 percent of the 13- to 15-year-olds killed in auto accidents in 2006 were not wearing seatbelts. “Miley, her father and Disney had a perfect opportunity to help influence teens and counteract — rather than encourage — this trend,” said the magazine.
We’ll wait to see if Women’s Health releases a statement when another starlet eats an ice cream cone.
