My predictions
First new show to get cancelled: Justice. If David E. Kelley were producing and writing, this would be a quirky, fascinating show. While Jerry Bruckheimer is a lot of things, he’s no David E. Kelley.
First new show to become a cult favorite: Standoff, if it manages to keep the balance between thriller and soap opera.
New show I’m most looking forward to: On the Lot. Sure, it’s American Idol for filmmakers, but it’ll be fun, especially for people interested in the filmmaking process. Plus, Spielberg’s involved, so this show won’t be all schlock.
