There were lots of rumblings over the weekend suggesting that the writers’ strike may be nearing an end. Many news reports stated that a deal could be announced by week’s end. If that’s the case, ABC has made contingency plans, according to TV Guide. Established series like Grey’s Anatomy and Ugly Betty may go back to work and try to do four to five shows for air in May to wrap up the season, while newcomers like Pushing Daisies probably wouldn’t return until next fall.
Could the writers’ strike be over?
