Hunger Games Sneak Peek Trailer!

See the first look inside the production Yes, I know this was on the MTV Video Music Awards last night – but I don’t watch those, do you?  I didn’t think so.  So this morning, Lionsgate was kind enough to send me the sneak peek trailer for The Hunger Games to share with all of [...]

Hunger Games Gets a Cinna

Wait…Who? I love the way Lionsgate has gone about casting The Hunger Games.  An excellent but not widely typecast actress in Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss.   Two fairly well known but not overexposed actors as the male leads Peeta and Gale and a whole host of newcomers as the other tributes. The adult cast is marked [...]

But times they are a’changin’ my friends!  For now [...]

From 5 to 10, more to love… Now that we’re mere days from Oscar, let’s take a look at the movie nominated for Best Picture.  Since last year’s switch from 5 nominees to 10, things have gotten a little more interesting.  It isn’t like any more have a chance of winning, but I like the [...]

Three Hot Women…

…lead a fiery Oscar race   I admit that I don’t pay undue attention to award speculations.  There are so many permutations of movie and TV awards that, honestly, I have a hard time caring about most of them.  With one exception – the Oscars.  I actively try to see movies and performances with big [...]
