Won’t it be interesting to see if an hour-long Golden Globes newscast gets more viewership than previous Golden Globes ceremonies? We’ll find out if that’s the case this Sunday as the prolonged writers’ strike and the unwillingness of any actors to cross the picket lines forced NBC and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association to scrap the big shindig. Instead, NBC will have an hour-long program where winners will be announced. Can’t wait to see who’ll announce the winners. I pray it won’t be Jay Leno. I could see Conan O’Brien having fun with it though.
